Dr. Joe Sugg Jr. is a native of Dothan, Alabama. He received his BS from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Dr. Sugg then received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. Dr. Sugg performed his internship and general ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was fellowship-trained at the University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Sugg performs all aspects of general ophthalmology at Eye Surgical Associates with special emphasis in cataract surgery.
