Dr. William Gannon, a native of Dothan and a second generation Dothan physician, received his BS in Health Care Management Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. He then received his Doctor of Medicine with research honors from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, where he was also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Gannon performed his internship at Baptist Health System in Birmingham and his ophthalmology residency program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
As a board certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Gannon performs all aspects of general ophthalmology at Eye Surgical Associates with special emphasis in cataract surgery and external diseases of the eye.
